Paintball Checklist

Some helpful hints of you are getting back into the game or if it’s been a couple of months and you are planning another trip out to the paintball park.

2 weeks prior to playing:

Check the hydro date on your tanks. (see Hydrotest)

Put fresh batteries in your marker and Gas it up, see if it works.

Put fresh batteries in your hopper to make sure it works

If your gear doesn’t work, bring it to your local shop immediately. Give them at least a week to 10 days to take a look at it. You never know what they already have to work on or if they need to order you a part.

During the week before play:

Make sure your soft goods are clean.

Wash your pants, jersey, elbow and knee pads and your gloves.

Check your goggle and make sure your lens doesn’t have any cracks and your foam is soft and wearable.

Get the cooler ready. Clean it out. Make room for water and snacks.

Most fields have a snack bar and hot food items available but it’s nice to have your own.

Night before play:

Re-check your gear. Lay everything out and make sure it’s all there.

Make sure your batteries are new.

Make sure everything is in your gear bag or box.

Goggles, marker, hopper, shoes, gloves, clothes.

Bring extra batteries, socks, clothes to change into.
