Paintballs are sold in 2000 ball cases. Paintball prices are different to reflect the quality of the paintball shell and fill. As you go up in price the paintballs are more consistant with use. They break when they hit your opponent instead of bouncing off and are designed so they don't break or get stuck in your marker. More expensive paintballs are less likely to have dimples, be out of round or have seams in the shell. The fill is thicker and MUCH brighter than less expensive paintballs.
