Planning for your day at Velocity Paintball
You get 3 hours to gear up and play! Tables are automatically reserved for Private Groups for FREE. We are an outdoor facility with no running water or electricity. Coolers with ice are a must to keep beverages and snacks cold.
Fall and Winter Hours – 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm
Spring and Summer Hours – 10 am to 1 pm or 2 pm – 5 pm
Below is a list of items you might want to consider bringing with you to make your day more enjoyable.
What to Wear
Please dress appropriately. You are going to get dirty! The paint will wash out of clothes. No Crocs, shorts or sandals. Jeans, sneakers or boots and a long-sleeved shirt are recommended, a trash bag for dirty clothes and shoes as well as a change of clothes. Also please dress for the weather. We play rain or shine.
Deliveries and Party Food
- Delivery should be planned for 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm depending on your reservation. This is to ensure delivery is on time for your festivities.
- You are welcome to use your reserved tables for 30 minutes after play to celebrate.
- Our gates close at 4:45 pm.
Dominoes Pizza Delivery

We specialize in offering the Velocity Paintball experience by hosting private groups with your own referee, including: Family Outings, Birthday Parties, Church Groups, Corporate Groups, and Bachelor or Bachelorette Outings.
What Our Customers Say
As always, it’s a great time. The only field in San Diego with multiple terrains from open fields to tree-covered. Always a good time at Velocity Paintball. The staff is professional, the players are good sports. The advanced players will help out the new people playing for the first time. They even have very well-coordinated private parties.
A fun experience for the boys’ birthdays. Booked party group of 10 and that came with all gear and 500 paintballs each. We had a shaded area with three big picnic tables and two round tables. We brought our own food and drinks. Domino’s pizza was ordered and delivered. There are porta potties and wash stations. Referee included in our group. Youngsters and older adults had a blast. We’d do it again. 🙂
